Business Development Representative

Insight Global is searching for a Business Development Representative. We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive new business opportunities within the manufacturing and industrial technology sector. This individual will be responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities through outbound prospecting, relationship building, and strategic engagement with manufacturing leaders. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys speaking with customers, and is motivated by career growth in software, technology, and industrial solutions sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute high-volume outbound prospecting activities through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn, and other sales channels.
• Identify and engage decision makers within manufacturing organizations, including Operations Managers, Plant Managers, Manufacturing Engineers, Continuous Improvement Leaders, and Executive Leadership.
• Qualify prospective customers by uncovering business challenges, operational pain points, and technology needs.
• Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for Account Executives and Sales Leaders.
• Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, pipeline activity, and sales progression within CRM platforms.
• Develop and nurture relationships with prospects through consistent follow-up and value-based communication.
• Meet and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs related to outreach, meetings booked, and pipeline generation.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to continuously improve outreach strategies and messaging.

Compensation Starting At: $55,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
