Global Construction Project Manager

Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of construction project management experience from project conception through close-out. Experience managing multiple concurrent capital construction projects (up to 7 projects at different stages). Experience managing project budgets in the $1M-$2M range. Proven experience with construction estimating, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, and risk management. Strong knowledge of building systems including architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and hazardous materials. Advanced experience using Smartsheet for project tracking, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting. Experience leading construction projects with full ownership of scope, budget, schedule, and quality. Experience coordinating contractors, design firms, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout project execution. Able to support global projects and collaborate across multiple time zones (including early morning or evening meetings with Europe and Asia teams).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Mechanical Engineering degree. Semiconductor facility construction experience. Data center construction experience. Industrial or laboratory facility construction experience. AutoCAD proficiency. PMP certification or equivalent project management credential. LEED knowledge and familiarity with international building codes. Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer (PE), preferably in California. Experience managing global construction programs.

Job Description: Manage global construction projects from initiation through close-out, maintaining ownership of scope, budget, schedule, and quality. Develop project charters, perform feasibility studies, define project scope, and conduct risk assessments. Prepare cost estimates, budget forecasts, ROI analyses, and manage financial controls to ensure projects remain on budget. Coordinate design activities with internal stakeholders including Facilities, IT, Security, EHS, and end users. Develop RFPs, evaluate bids, negotiate contracts, and manage contractor and consultant relationships. Oversee project schedules, permitting activities, code compliance, change orders, and project execution milestones. Manage day-to-day project delivery across multiple active projects while providing status, financial, and risk reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
