CNC Machinist

Trillium Staffing is currently seeking a CNC Machinist for a Direct Hire CNC Machinist opportunity with a growing heavy fabrication manufacturer in the Sturgeon Bay area.

This CNC Machinist role focuses on setting up and operating horizontal boring mills to produce precision-machined components to engineered specifications.

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate horizontal boring mills to machine metal components
  • Select appropriate tooling, fixtures, and cutting parameters for each job
  • Perform tool changes and make machine adjustments to maintain precision
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and procedures
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve efficiency and output
  • Support additional duties as assigned

Schedule is 2nd Shift: MondayThursday | 3:30PM2:00AM (3-Day Weekend). Pay: $26$35/hour.

CNC Machinist Qualifications:

  • Technical degree in CNC machining or related field preferred
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Ability to use precision measuring tools and convert measurements into decimals
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
