Emergency Management Specialist Duties

As an Emergency Management Specialist you will be responsible for the following duties:

1. Supports planning and operations in support of Continuity of Operations Planning (COOP) and National Security/Emergency Preparedness (NS/EP).
2. Analyzes operational requirements, and documentation to ensure goals and objectives are consistent with policy constraints, and overall TFSO objectives and management intent.
3. Serves as an Assistant Project Manager / Operational Planning Team member in developing operational support programs and establishes appropriate communication channels to support mission requirements.
4. Acts as an Action Officer in support of specific operations and tasks, and facilitates logistic, engineering, personnel, security, and budget tasks at the work site.
5. Participates in after action development, readiness reporting, and operational impact assessments.
6. Directs fielding development for new technologies and tracks status of implementation of those technologies.
