Fabricator/Welder (Hiring Immediately)

Fabricator/Welder Welder / Fabricator / Pipe Fitter IMMEC is seeking experienced Welders, Fabricators, and Pipe Fitters to join our Industrial Services team. We are looking for safety-focused individuals with strong fabrication and welding skills who take pride in producing quality work. Candidates with 2+ years of relevant experience are preferred. Job Type: Full-Time Responsibilities * Perform MIG, TIG, and flux-core welding * Fabricate structural steel, sheet metal, and miscellaneous metals * Perform pipe fitting, joining, and related fabrication work * Fabricate stairs, risers, handrails, platforms, mezzanines, ductwork, and other components * Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, schematics, and specifications * Measure, cut, fit, assemble, and weld materials according to project requirements * Operate shop equipment, including shears, presses, CNC saws, and plasma tables * Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as required * Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area * Follow all company and jobsite safety policies and procedures Qualifications & Skills * 2+ years of welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, or related industrial experience preferred * Experience with MIG, TIG, and flux-core welding * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and manuals * Ability to use precision measuring tools, including calipers and tape measures * Working knowledge of metals, materials, and fabrication techniques * Experience operating fabrication and shop equipment * Strong math and measurement skills * Ability to accurately lay out, fit, and fabricate components * Ability to safely lift and handle materials associated with the position * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * Vocational training or completion of an apprenticeship is a plus * Ability to obtain OSHA 30 certification through company-provided training * Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and teamwork Employment Requirements Candidates must be able to successfully complete applicable pre-employment requirements, which may include a background check, motor vehicle record review, and drug screening.
