Financial Manager (Deputy Financial and Business Operations)

Duties

Provides expertise to the Executive Director of the Financial and Business Operations/Comptroller Directorate and the Agency Director and Deputy Director (all are SES level positions).

Represents DCMA in senior-level meetings and other forums with the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Military Departments, Defense Agencies, civilian agencies, contractors, Industry Associations.

Assists the Executive Director in the areas of programming, budgeting, accounting, reimbursable program management, resource management, and strategic planning.

Directs the development of the DCMA President's Budget and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) products to determine resource requirements over the mid and long-term to perform the DCMA mission.

Manages and oversees all planning processes in compliance with the CFO Act, FFMIA, and the Government Performance and Results Act of 1993 to advance DOW unmodified audit opinion.

Provides leadership to subordinates and technical guidance to executive/management level representatives from the Military Services, DCMA, and other Government Agencies.
