Forklift Driver

Southwestern Wire, Inc., a leading producer of chain link fencing & steel wire products, nationwide, is seeking a FORKLIFT DRIVER for work in manufacturing and industrial environments.

What we are looking for: 
Someone who is willing to learn and set their own pace while working in a team environment. Reliability is a must.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

• Use of machinery to safely and efficiently pick up & move materials from one site to another in the Galvanizing department to assist with the flow of production processes.


• Commitment to workplace safety and following company policies.


• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Previous Forklift/material handling experience is beneficial but not required (heavy duty preferred)

JOB TYPE: Full-time, 40 hours per week

SCHEDULE:

• DAY SHIFT: 9:00 am - 9:00 pm, rotating days


• GRAVEYARD SHIFT: 9:00 pm - 9:00 am, rotating days


• Pay: $18 per hour, plus shift differential for overnights

WORK LOCATION: In person; Norman, OK

***Pre-employment drug test and physical must be completed upon hire.

Salary/Compensation: $18.00 per hour
