This facility is seeking a Hematology - Oncology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
Schedule: 3 days per week, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM. Scheduled clinical hours only, with no after-hours or weekend call coverage.
Practice Setting: Outpatient hematology and oncology clinic.
Types of Cases: Established follow-up patients and new benign hematology consultations, primarily benign hematologic diseases, with a small number of malignant cases possible.
Patient Volume: Approximately 12–16 patients per day; the assignment details list 15 patients per shift.
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60–90 days.
Electronic Medical Record: Epic.
Certifications Required: Board Certified, Fellowship required.
Licensure Required: Active North Carolina medical license required
