Inpatient Psychiatry Medical Director | $350K-$400K | Tampa, FL

Step into a full-time Medical Director role that blends meaningful inpatient care with psychiatric leadership in Tampa.

• $350,000–$400,000 annual compensation

• Approximately 30% Medical Director / 70% clinical care

• Monday–Friday mornings and early afternoons

• Lead and support a team of ~4 psychiatric APPs

• Collaborate with an on-site Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

• Clinical volume of 10+ patients

In this role, you’ll provide inpatient psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, medication management, and ongoing patient care while helping set clinical standards, supporting quality and safety initiatives, guiding psychiatric providers, and participating in Medical Executive Committee activities.

Qualifications: MD/DO; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry; Florida license or eligibility for licensure. Inpatient psychiatry and prior clinical leadership or supervisory experience are strongly preferred. Candidates actively pursuing a Florida license may be considered; ASAP start preferred.
