Insurance Coverage Attorney

We are working with an Equity Partner at a prestigious firm to expand their Insurance Coverage team across their Louisiana offices.

This is an opportunity to join a high-growth office where you will be given the opportunity to preparing and responding to written discovery, drafting pleadings and briefs, analyzing insurance policies, and providing coverage opinions to clients.

• You will be representing major insurance carriers and their insureds in complex disputes.
• Participate in all phases of a case, from inception through resolution, including trials and appeals.
• Draft complex pleadings, motions, and briefs that set the strategic tone for defense.
• Engagement in out-of-state trial monitoring and assignments.

The firm is looking for:

• 2+ years of insurance coverage and/or litigation experience (the firm is currently hiring from Junior Associates to Counsel).
• Must be admitted to the Louisiana State Bar.
• Have strong research and writing skills and have the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Ability to conduct rigorous legal research and develop winning case-handling strategies.
