Change Management Role

Goal: Automate and streamline the city's tax payment processes through collaboration with an external vendor.

Role to be Hired: Focus: Change Management

Responsibilities:

• Traditional change management related to IT.
• Understand and manage transitions from current to future states.
• Build and maintain a collaboration and communication site (SharePoint).
• Engage stakeholders and conduct discovery sessions.
• Prepare weekly status reports.
• Oversee internal and public communications.
• Track risks using Jira.

Key Skills and Tools:

• Tools: Jira, SharePoint
• Skills Required: Expertise in the psychology of change, stakeholder engagement, and risk tracking.

Additional Information:

• Work Arrangement: 100% remote but must be within 1 hour distance; must be on-site on day 1 to collect equipment.
• Engagement Duration: Through 2026.
• Experience vs. Education: Experience is prioritized over formal education or degrees.
