Litigation Attorney (Contract)

Our client, a multinational luxury fashion holding company, is seeking a Temporary Litigation Attorney for a 4 week contract assignment (could last longer). This position is hybrid. Pay rate is $90-$100/hour.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and manage a wide range of disputes across the organization, including regulatory matters, employment/wage and hour, commercial, intellectual property and brand protection, privacy and TCPA and personal injury litigation.
• Conduct internal investigations.
• Collaborate with and direct outside counsel on various litigation matters, ensuring alignment with the company’s legal objectives and priorities, while supporting risk management and compliance.
• Provide counsel to business units on litigation exposure and risk and advise on litigation strategy.
• Represent company interests in administrative, court, arbitration and mediation proceedings.
• Prepare and review a variety of legal documents, including administrative submissions, pleadings, motions and a variety of agreements, including those involving settlement, releases, arbitration and waivers.
• Conduct, coordinate and support the litigation process, including preservation, litigation holds, and eDiscovery, including collection, review and production.
• Manage litigation budgets, while ensuring efficient and effective representation and risk mitigation.

Highly qualified applicants will possess the following education, skills, and experience:

• 5+ years of experience with litigation law
• Highly motivated and self-sufficient with the ability to work independently
• JD and law license, active and in good standing.
