This large hospital operates in Southern Texas providing comprehensive healthcare services with advanced diagnostic imaging capabilities across multiple modalities. The facility maintains modern equipment including Cerner EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS systems to support efficient radiology workflow operations and quality patient care delivery.

The Texas Hill Country provides outdoor recreation opportunities including hiking at Enchanted Rock State Park and wildlife viewing at LBJ State Park, where visitors can observe bison. The region offers food tours featuring local flavors and tacos, along with cultural activities at museums and historical sites. The diagnostic radiologist will provide comprehensive mixed modality diagnostic imaging interpretation services with flexible scheduling options including Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7-on-7-off coverage from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The clinician will manage high RVU volume workloads of 80-90 RVUs per shift while interpreting studies across plain film, magnetic resonance, ultrasound, CT, and nuclear medicine modalities. The position utilizes Cerner EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS systems with PS 360 dictation technology to support efficient workflow operations. Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required for this onsite position offering no call responsibilities.
