Machine Operator Opportunity

Doherty Staffing Solutions is partnering with a leading manufacturing company in Audubon, MN. We work one-on-one with great candidates to help connect them with local employment opportunities. We are seeking candidates for Machine Operator roles on a variety of shifts. Compensation for these contract opportunities is $18.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on shift and experience. Interested? What youll do as the Machine Operator:

• Ensure a safe work environment for self and others
• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Review and follow work instruction, management system procedures and standard operating documents
• Run CNC and manual machines, and handheld tools
• Inspect parts and identify defects and non-conformities
• Consistently and accurately complete all related paperwork/documentation
• Monitor fluids in machine and coolant flow in machine
• Utilize the 5-S principles (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, and sustain) to maintain an orderly, clean and safe work area
• Produce parts that meet the Companys quality standards
• Actively participate in events to improve the safety, quality, and efficiencies of our current processes and procedures
• Work at a consistent and steady pace, be prepared to work each day, and report to assigned work center in a punctual manner

What you need to be a Machine Operator:

• High school diploma or GED
• Manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Basic math skills, must have a working knowledge of decimals
• Ability to read measuring instruments and work instructions
• Must be detail oriented, with the ability to recognize defects and non-conformities
• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Ability to safely operate a forklift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
