Pay Rate: $2,534 – $2,679 per week
Schedule: Full-Time (Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) OR Part-Time / Split-Shift options available
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Mammography Technologist to join an outpatient clinical setting in Upper Manhattan. In this role, you will perform high-quality diagnostic and screening mammography procedures while providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care & Imaging: Perform high-quality diagnostic and screening mammography procedures following established protocols and ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principles.
- Patient Engagement: Prepare patients for procedures, clearly explain the imaging process, and actively work to alleviate anxiety while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Accuracy & Positioning: Position patients accurately to obtain precise, high-quality breast images.
- Clinical Workflow: Maintain an efficient workflow and support smooth patient throughput in a high-volume setting.
- Quality & Compliance: Maintain precise patient records, imaging logs, and QA/QC documentation in strict compliance with FDA/MQSA standards.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, clinical staff, and administrative teams to coordinate care and streamline clinical operations.
Required Qualifications & Certifications
- Education: Certificate or Degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- State Licensure: Active New York State license in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Core Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification in Radiography ARRT (R).
- Specialty Certification: ARRT Advanced Certification in Mammography ARRT (M).
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Radiologist Collaboration: Experience working directly alongside radiologists during diagnostic evaluations to acquire tailored images based on real-time clinical feedback.
- Regulatory Expertise: Strong working knowledge of ACR and MQSA regulations as well as facility imaging protocols.
- Safety & Compliance: Expertise in radiation safety protocols and strict adherence to infection control guidelines.
- Documentation: Exceptional attention to detail in maintaining accurate clinical logs and electronic health records.
