Material Handling Operator 2nd Shift

Our client in Grand Prairie, a leading organization in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handling Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting the storage, handling, and distribution of goods. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. This is a temp to hire opportunity!

Job Title: Material Handling Operator 2nd shift

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Pay Range: $19.15

Shift: 4PM to 12:30AM

What's the Job?

• Accept incoming goods and compare them with shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect incoming goods for visible damage, document findings, and report as needed.
• Operate transport equipment such as industrial trucks and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Record relevant data into data processing systems for inventory management.
• Organize storage, inventory, and movement of goods within the warehouse, including assembling deliveries and preparing shipments.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in material handling or warehouse operations.
• Basic knowledge of principles, procedures, and routines in warehouse environments.
• Ability to operate standard software packages related to inventory and logistics management.
• Experience with forklift or industrial truck operation preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
