Medical Assistant

Hiring for Medical Assistant in Boston, MA. $25/hr. to $30/hr.

Position Details:

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks with possible extensions.
  • Shift & Schedule: 5x8s Day Shift (8:30am - 5pm).

Compensation for Locals (Less than 50 miles):

  • Gross Weekly Pay: $1,200/week.
  • W2 Taxable hourly rate: $30/hr.

Job Details and Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant or direct patient care experience.
  • Medical Assistant (MA), EMT, SNA, or LNA certification/diploma with at least 5 months of patient care experience.
  • Experience performing patient intake, including vital signs, height & weight measurements, EKGs, phlebotomy, scheduling diagnostic/laboratory tests, and navigating web-based applications.
  • Experience with Point-of-Care (POC) testing.
  • EPIC EMR experience required.
  • Knowledge of maintaining clean, organized, and stocked patient care areas, including medical equipment and supplies.
