- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Support meal service and help maintain proper nutrition
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly
- Respond to patient needs with urgency, empathy, and professionalism
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care
- High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Completion of a Nurse's Aide program
- Previous hospital or health care experience.
License/Certification
Preferred:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Work Environment
- Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients. Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
- Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
- PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by UHS Hospitals Infection Control policies.
