Job Description

Leading auto company is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support the Legal & Compliance by monitoring across anti-bribery, competition law, third-party risk, conflicts of interest, and sanctions. You'll help document and strengthen internal controls, support two major initiatives — a corporate rebranding/name change and IPO readiness ahead of a Tokyo Stock Exchange listing — and keep the Legal/Compliance function running smoothly day to day.

Title: Paralegal (IPO Readiness & Compliance)

Duration: 6 Months

Experience: 4+ Years

Location: Remote

Pay Rate: $65 - $85 / hour ($130,000 - $170,000)

What You'll Do

  • Run annual and periodic compliance monitoring programs across global business units
  • Administer compliance tools (employee hotline, policy management system, etc.)
  • Review and validate approval workflows (competitor contact, gifts & hospitality), third-party screening, and conflict-of-interest disclosures
  • Track compliance metrics and flag anomalies
  • Evaluate record retention practices against policy
  • Monitor training completion and support Legal/Compliance training and webinars
  • Identify control gaps and partner with Legal/Compliance on remediation
  • Maintain the compliance documentation repository and support internal/external audits
  • Help map Legal/Compliance processes and manage internal communications (SharePoint, memos, etc.)
  • Support rebranding-related legal notices and system/policy updates, and IPO readiness documentation

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (business, legal studies, compliance, finance, or related)
  • 3–7 years in compliance, internal audit, or risk management
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
  • Comfortable interpreting policy and translating it into monitoring activities
  • Experience with workflow, tracking, or GRC tools preferred

Nice to Have

  • CCEP certification
  • Experience with LawView (or similar), Navex, Lexis/Bloomberg
  • Background in entity management, IPO readiness, or vendor/legal ops support

Who Thrives Here

  • Someone flexible and hands-on — equally comfortable running documentation for a GC meeting or handling day-to-day logistics. This is a single, full-scope role covering both the rebranding and IPO readiness workstreams.
