We are seeking a skilled phlebotomist to draw patients' blood and perform specimen processing in a doctor's office setting. This role is vital in collecting and receiving biological specimens, accurately entering them into the computer system, preparing them for analytical testing, and distributing them to the proper analytical areas. You will also conduct specified analytical testing following the guidelines of the Code of Conduct.
Responsibilities
- Collect and receive biological specimens into the department.
- Enter specimens accurately into the company's computer system.
- Prepare samples for analytical testing.
- Distribute specimens to the appropriate analytical area.
- Perform specified analytical testing as assigned.
- Adhere to the Code of Conduct.
Essential Skills
- At least 1-2 years of experience in phlebotomy.
- Proficiency in blood drawing and specimen collection.
- Experience with specimen processing and patient care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Great communication skills, particularly with cancer patients.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working with cancer patients and difficult draws.
- GED or High School Diploma required.
Work Environment
The position is based in a doctor's office where you will draw blood from patients and work closely with Medical Assistants. The schedule is Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM. Candidates are expected to live within 15 to 16 miles of the location (Scottsdale, AZ 85258). The company promotes growth and development, offering a career ladder with opportunities for advancement.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.36/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
