Join a traveling Physical Therapist role in Mechanicsburg, PA, outpatient setting where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in a new location. This role involves evaluating patients, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, supervising discipline-specific therapy services, documenting care in accordance with regulatory and clinic standards, and participating in professional development activities.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience. New graduates will not be considered.
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans, document per payer and clinic requirements, and provide patient and family education.
  • Willingness and ability to float to other clinic locations as needed.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in outpatient clinic systems and familiarity with documentation of letters of medical necessity and functional quality indicators.
  • Experience supervising students or mentoring junior clinicians.


Assignment Details

  • Work pattern: 5x8 schedule with varied daily hours.
  • Typical weekly schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:00 to 19:00 (10-hour days); Tuesday, Friday 8:00 to 13:00, with some flexibility.
  • Must be prepared to float to another clinic location (zip code 27030) as required.
