Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active Washington state PT license is required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience with outpatient orthopedic caseloads, including adolescents to geriatric patients.
- Comfort treating student athletes and approximately 10% post-stroke patients in the chronic/post-rehab phase.
- Experience using WebPT or willingness to train on WebPT EMR.
- Ability to complete 1-hour evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups, utilizing aides to supplement care.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in an outpatient clinic with a large gym or pool-based programming.
- Experience working with therapy aides and managing productivity targets of roughly 12 patients per 10-hour day.
- New graduates are welcome; mentorship from tenured staff is available.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 4x10s.
- Caseload primarily orthopedics with adolescent through geriatric populations; approximately 10% neurological cases post-CVA.
- Clinic features a 6,000 sq ft space with a large gym and an in-ground therapy pool (note: PTs/PTAs do not enter the water).
- Three therapy aides available to support treatment on the floor.
- Productivity expectation: approximately 12 patients per 10-hour day.
