- Perform complex diagnostic and interventional procedures including heart catheterizations, ventriculography, and angiography
- Support inpatient consults, managing 3-5 cases daily
- Read Echos and EKGs for unassigned patients
- Take STEMI call and respond to emergency cardiac cases
- Collaborate with nurses and other cardiologists in the cath lab
- Support patients of all ages in a busy, high-acuity environment
Required:
- MD/DO with fellowship in Interventional Cardiology
- Board Certified in cardiology
- State license or willing to obtain in Illinois (IMLC/Compact licensure accepted)
- ACLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of post-fellowship experience
Preferred:
- Experience with advanced procedures such as intravascular ultrasound, Impella, atherectomy, and thrombectomy
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced setting
