- Shift: Days, 6:00 am – 6:30 pm (11/25–11/27)
- Duration: Ongoing coverage into 2027
- Hours/Week: Full-time hours based on shifts
- Employment Type: Per diem/Contract
- Certifications: Medical License in Wisconsin (or eligible)
- Experience: Prior emergency medicine experience preferred
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour

- Provide high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced ED/UC setting for approximately 40-60 patients daily
- Collaborate with APCs, hospitalists, surgeons, and specialized services such as Telestroke and Tele ICU
- Utilize onsite resources including a UW helicopter for urgent transport
- Support general surgery and orthopedics services as needed
- Document patient assessments and treatment plans efficiently
- Contribute to a team-focused environment prioritizing patient safety and quality care
Required:
- Medical license in Wisconsin (or eligibility)
- Experience in emergency medicine or related acute care setting
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment
Preferred:
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Prior experience with hospitalist teams and telehealth support systems
