- Employment Type: Locum/Contract
- Licensure/Certs: Wisconsin Medical License, ACLS, BLS, ATLS, PALS
- Experience: Preferred but flexible for qualified candidates
Pay & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $150/hour (orientation rate)
- Pay package discussed upon application
- Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), robust referral bonus program, paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel and other reimbursements when applicable
What You’ll Do:
- Provide emergency medical care at regional hospitals in Wisconsin’s Northwoods area
- Support hospital admissions with approximately 20% admission rate
- Offer coverage in a rural, outdoor-oriented community ideal for those who love lakes, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and outdoor recreation
- Collaborate with APCs in some shifts for double coverage
- Manage diverse emergency cases in a critical access and regional hospital setting
- Participate in on-call and shift coverage as needed
What You Need:
- Active medical license in Wisconsin
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Valid ACLS, PALS, ATLS certifications
- 1+ years of emergency medicine experience preferred but not required
- Local, Midwest-based providers strongly preferred to reduce travel complications
