- Hours per Week: 36
- Employment Type: Temporary/Locum
- Licensed/Certifications: NC Medical License, NC Medicaid credentialed, PECOS enrollment required
- Experience: Prior emergency medicine experience preferred
- Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hr

- Provide standard solo emergency room coverage for approximately 30-32,000 annual patients in a busy hospital setting
- Manage a patient volume of around 90-100 patients daily, with physicians typically seeing 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift
- Use Meditech 6.1 EMR to document patient interactions
- Collaborate with mid-level providers on ICU coverage and patient care
- Support open ICU environment and ensure quality patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and state regulations
Required:
- NC Medical License and DEA
- NC Medicaid credentialed and PECOS enrollment
- Prior emergency medicine experience
Preferred:
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced ER setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
