Job DescriptionNocturnist Opening in Oswego, New YorkOpportunity in OswegoSyracuse 35m; Rochester 70mFull Time | Hospital MedicineSeeking a BC/BE Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join an established Hospital Medicine team as a Nocturnist.Position Highlights:- Inpatient Nocturnist position- 7-on/7-off schedule with Tuesday changeover- Night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.- No call responsibilities- Community hospital with approximately 5,000 admissions annually- Average of 6-8 admissions per night- Open ICU with daytime Pulmonary/Critical Care support- Overnight Tele-Intensivist coverage from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.- 44 private and 4 semi-private medical/surgical beds- 8-bed ICU- Collaborative environment with 24/7 specialty coverage- Meditech EMRQualifications:- MD or DO- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine- Eligible for state medical licensure- Experience with central lines, intubations, thoracentesis, and paracentesis preferredCompensation & Benefits:- Competitive salary of $350,000-$400,000- $50,000 sign-on bonus- Up to $10,000 relocation assistance- Up to $30,000 student loan repayment- Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance- 403(b) retirement plan- 120 hours of paid time off- 60 hours of CME time- $5,500 annual CME, licensure, and professional dues reimbursementCommunity Highlights:- Family-friendly community with an affordable cost of living- Excellent schools and outdoor recreation- Short commute times and exceptional work-life balance- Convenient access to regional airports, shopping, dining, and entertainment
