- Duration: Permanent, with ongoing opportunities
- Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Schedule: 7–10 shifts/month, flexible block scheduling
- Hours/Week: Approximately 84–120 hours
- Employment Type: Full-time, permanent
- License/Certs: Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Experience: Prior inpatient/hospitalist experience preferred
- Hourly Rate: $1.00/hour (note: pay details to be discussed upon application)

- Supportive nursing and multidisciplinary team
- Provide inpatient adult medical care in a community hospital setting
- Respond to codes and rapid response situations
- Manage ventilator and step-down patients (vent management preferred)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for patient discharge and transitional care
- Document patient care accurately in Cerner EMR
- Participate in weekend coverage as scheduled
- Maintain a collegial relationship with ED, surgical, and nursing staff
- Contribute to patient safety and continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active Vermont medical license (pending licensure, credentialing approx. 90 days)
- 2+ years of inpatient or hospitalist experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Comfortable with EMR documentation and rapid response protocols
