Quick Facts
- Location: Fortuna, CA
- Start Date: 10/08/2026
- Duration: Ongoing assignment
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Hours per Week: 18+ patients per day
- Employment Type: Full-time
- License/Certifications: Active DEA, required immunizations (Flu, TB, MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap)
- Experience: 5 years or less since residency preferred; BE considered if truly broad-certified
- Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (competitive pay package discussed upon application)

- Provide primary care for pediatric and adult patients, or focus solely on family medicine as preferred
- Manage chronic pain cases and perform chart closures within 72 hours
- Conduct patient assessments, diagnoses, and develop treatment plans
- Document visits thoroughly and accurately
- Follow all credentialing and immunization requirements for employment
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Adhere to practice protocols, legal, and safety standards
Required:
- Active California medical license
- DEA license prior to start
- Immunizations: Flu (2022-2023), TB (within 90 days), MMR, Hep B, Varicella, Tdap
- Experience: Minimum 5 years post-residency or BE with relevant background
Preferred:
- Experience in chronic pain management
- Experience with pediatric and adult care (or Family Medicine-only)
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
