Practice Manager - Community Hospital

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee operations for a busy hospital-based multispecialty practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a healthcare operations leader who enjoys managing teams, improving practice performance, and supporting providers in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations of the medical practice
• Supervise, train, and manage practice staff
• Ensure efficient patient flow and service excellence
• Monitor compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
• Support revenue cycle functions including billing and coding oversight
• Partner with providers and leadership to achieve operational goals
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance issues
• Promote a professional, patient-focused culture throughout the practice

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory and/or management experience in a hospital or medical office setting
• CPC certification preferred
• Strong understanding of medical practice operations
• Knowledge of Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid guidelines
• Experience with billing, collections, ICD and CPT coding
• Strong leadership, employee management, and staff development skills
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively
