Kelly Engineering is seeking a Production Supervisor to join one of our leading clients within the Chemical/Composite Manufacturing industry focused on aerospace and defense at their Anaheim, CA location.

Note: Training will take place on 1st shift for the first couple of months before moving over to 3rd shift (10PM - 6AM).


Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 3-5 years industry experience in production/manufacturing environments as a supervisor
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and value chain
  • Able to support the production line, run rates, and calculations toward production goals.
  • Able to support and build team culture.
  • Tech savvy using Excel or managing spreadsheets, SAP experience is a plus.


Compensation: $40.00 - $44.00/hr


Position Overview

  • The Shift Team Lead is responsible for ensuring performance to established safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards and best practices through engagement and involvement of Production employees.
  • This role involves supervising production employees and production lines while leading the continuous improvement process to optimize safety, quality, and productivity within defined manufacturing system and process limits.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: Minimum High School diploma or GED required; BS (Engineering) preferred.
  • Experience: minimum 3-5 years of experience.
  • Preferred Skills: Lean Manufacturing.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and value chain.
  • Ability to understand key operational metrics and communicate across organizations to achieve clear alignment and focus.
  • Knowledge of quality systems, including ISO9001/AS9100 requirements, preferred.
  • Proficiency in materials management, inventory control methods/procedures, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
