Kelly Engineering is seeking a Production Supervisor to join one of our leading clients within the Chemical/Composite Manufacturing industry focused on aerospace and defense at their Anaheim, CA location.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE:

  • 2nd shift: 2:00 pm 10:00 pm (Tuesday - Saturday)
  • 3rd shift: 10:00 pm 6:00 am (Tuesday - Saturday)


Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum 3-5 years industry experience in production/manufacturing environments as a supervisor (machine shop, fabrication, composites, finishing experience preferred).
  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing plant environment.
  • Prior experience working in a unionized setting, with an understanding of union rules and effective labor relations.


Compensation: $35.00 - $44.00/hr


Position Overview

  • The Shift Team Lead is responsible for ensuring performance to established safety, quality, cost, and productivity standards and best practices through engagement and involvement of Production employees.
  • This role involves supervising production employees and production lines while leading the continuous improvement process to optimize safety, quality, and productivity within defined manufacturing system and process limits.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Education: Minimum High School diploma or GED required; BS (Engineering) preferred.
  • Experience: minimum 3-5 years of experience.
  • Preferred Skills: Lean Manufacturing.


Desired Technical Skills

  • Experience using SAP for production and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with UKG (Kronos) for workforce management and timekeeping. Supervisor is primary point of contact for their employees payroll issues.
  • Experience with Neptune
