We are currently hiring an R&D Lab Associates for IDEXX in Westbrook to support laboratory testing and research for innovative pet healthcare products. This opening offers pay of $19.48/hour and is a 6-month temporary assignment, with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative lab environment. This is a dynamic laboratory role where no two days are the same. Typical Daily Duties:

Conduct laboratory testing and analyses on animal specimens, including sample processing and results reporting Execute and support instrument test protocols for new and existing products Maintain laboratory operations, including scheduling, equipment cleanliness, and general lab upkeep Manage inventory, procure supplies, and ensure consistent stocking of lab materials Support lab systems, databases, documentation, and accurate recordkeeping with basic data analysis Provide administrative support such as medical transcription, shipping preparation, phone coverage, and billing/pricing assistance

What We're Looking For:

Previous laboratory experience preferred, including pipetting (micropipettes and multichannel pipettes) Ability to read and interpret SOPs, MSDSs, safety rules, and technical procedures and basic computer skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively, with a positive, flexible attitude in fast-paced team environments To be considered for this R&D Lab Associate opening at IDEXX in Westbrook, please contact us using any of the methods below.
