Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) plays a vital role in supporting physical therapy services by assisting licensed physical therapists in the delivery of patient care. Responsibilities include conducting prescribed treatment plans, documenting patient progress, and ensuring the well-being of patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys. PTAs will collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Minimum Years of Experience: 0.0

Active License Required

General Certifications:

• ACLS
• BLS/BCLS
• PALS
• NRP

Rehabilitation Certifications:

• ASHA
• CHT
• ACP Training

Additional Information

Applicants are required to complete documentation with the agency prior to commencement of their assignment. A compact license is permissible in Washington and Alaska. If the candidate has worked with the organization in a permanent or PRN capacity within the last year, they are ineligible for rehire until a year has passed from their last work date.

Candidates previously employed at the organization as travelers more than a year ago should provide their name and date of birth for eligibility verification.

During the onboarding process, parking and dress code information will be provided.

Commitment

Candidates must be available for a commitment of 13 to 26 weeks.
