Position Details

Location: Brentwood, CA 94513
Position: School-Based Social Worker
Assignment Dates: ASAP – June 3, 2027
Schedule: 35 working hours per week
Setting: High School

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling services to students within the high school setting
• Support and manage a high school caseload
• Consult and collaborate regarding IEPs and 504 plans
• Collaborate with school staff and educational teams to support student success
• Provide school-based mental health and social work support as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in counseling or social work
• Previous school-based mental health and/or counseling experience
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential issued by the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences
• Valid Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Social Work
• Valid California Driver’s License
• Valid auto insurance and ability to maintain required coverage
