School Psychologist - Belleville, Michigan

This onsite-only role serves several schools near Belleville, MI, encompassing locations such as Jefferson, Monroe Public, Airport, and Ida. You will work closely with students, families, and faculty to provide comprehensive psychological services, foster positive outcomes, and help students thrive academically and emotionally.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Michigan School Psychologist license required (please verify your credentials online).
• Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a school setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff.
• Proven ability to conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and document student progress.
• Adaptability to support K-12 students across multiple school locations.
• Commitment to onsite service delivery (remote/virtual services are not an option for this role).

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform evaluations to identify students’ needs and recommend individualized educational or behavioral interventions.
• Provide direct counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services to students.
• Develop and monitor progress of IEP goals in close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Communicate assessment results and recommendations with staff and families.
• Serve as an advocate for student well-being and inclusive education.

This position begins August 12, 2026, and concludes June 2, 2027, with a 37.5-hour work week during the school year. There are three openings available, giving you the chance to work alongside a collaborative group of school-based professionals. Compensation for travel candidates is reserved at a higher rate.
