Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active and valid South Carolina license as a School Psychologist (required)
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, mental health support, and IEP process
- Excellent communication, consultation, and documentation skills
- Collaborative approach with educators, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with the educational team
- Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation as needed
- Offer recommendations and strategies for academic and behavioral interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing professional insights to promote student well-being
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
