Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential required
- Experience in a school setting, preferably at the high school level
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and techniques
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Competence in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans
- Flexibility to manage both on-site and itinerant responsibilities
- Commitment to creating positive learning environments for all students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results
- Develop recommendations for student learning plans and support strategies
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to address academic and behavioral concerns
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate accommodations
- Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students
- Promote positive mental health and effective coping strategies
- Travel between designated sites as needed
