Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure or certification as a school psychologist
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings highly preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative abilities
- Ability to develop and interpret psychological evaluations
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students referred by teachers, parents, or administrators
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to determine student eligibility for special education
- Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services as needed
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop evidence-based intervention plans
- Document assessments, progress, and communications in an accurate and timely manner
- Advise school staff on strategies to support student learning and behavior
- Serve as a resource for mental health awareness and best practices within the educational environment
