School Psychologist in Statesville, NC

Seeking an experienced professional to provide comprehensive psychological services for elementary, middle, and high school students in a full-time, contract role. You’ll work collaboratively to deliver valuable support and assessment services throughout the duration of the assignment, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 28, 2027.

This position offers an engaging variety of responsibilities. The primary duties involve conducting re-evaluation reviews and eligibility meetings, as well as completing functional behavioral assessments. Occasional initial evaluations will also be part of your caseload. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist credentials
• Training and experience in school-based psychological services
• Proficiency in conducting cognitive assessments, re-evaluations, and functional behavioral assessments
• Ability to facilitate eligibility meetings and effectively engage with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational skills and timely documentation practices
• Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students preferred

Responsibilities Include:

• Leading re-evaluation review and eligibility meetings
• Administering, scoring, and interpreting psychological assessments
• Conducting functional behavioral assessments and recommending interventions
• Supporting students’ educational and emotional needs through direct and consultative services
• Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families
• Maintaining compliance with state and federal educational guidelines
• Contributing to a positive school environment by fostering understanding and advocacy

This contract position provides consistent full-time hours (Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week) in a supportive educational setting. You’ll have the chance to develop meaningful connections with students and staff and play a vital role in student success.
