Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state certification or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience with psychoeducational evaluations and report writing in a school setting
• Solid knowledge of IDEA, FERPA, and state special education guidelines
• Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to detail, organization, and meeting required deadlines

Responsibilities Include:

• Conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and reevaluations for students receiving special education services
• Reviewing and interpreting educational records, developmental and medical history, and outside professional reports
• Administering, scoring, and interpreting various assessment measures, including cognitive, adaptive, behavioral, and academic tools
• Observing students in classroom settings and collecting data from teachers, care providers, and related staff
• Participating actively in eligibility determination and IEP meetings as a valued member of the team
• Collaborating effectively with educators, therapists, administrators, and other professionals to develop holistic support plans
• Ensuring compliance with legal, procedural, and documentation requirements while meeting established timelines
