This full-time, contract opportunity is available immediately through the end of May 2027, offering the chance to engage with a diverse student caseload and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout a typical school week, Monday through Friday for 37.5 hours.

In this vital role, you’ll focus on conducting crucial re-evaluation reviews and eligibility meetings, carrying out functional behavioral assessments, and participating in some initial evaluations. Your specialized expertise will help shape positive outcomes for students across various grade levels, while your insights will be valued in team-decision meetings and ongoing student support.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist in North Carolina
• Advanced knowledge of school-based psychoeducational assessments, interventions, and behavioral strategies
• Familiarity with re-evaluation, eligibility determination, and functional behavioral assessment practices
• Strong skills in consultation, collaboration, and effective communication within school teams
• Experience working with K-12 students from diverse backgrounds preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct re-evaluation and eligibility determination meetings
• Lead and document functional behavioral assessments for students
• Participate in special education assessments, including some initial evaluations
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student learning and emotional well-being
