Special Education Teacher [84085]

We’re currently seeking a full-time, in-person Special Education Teacher to support a school in Buckeye County, Arizona for the 2026–2027 school year.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success through targeted instruction, collaboration with general education staff, and participation in student support planning. You’ll work on-site supporting students in resource rooms in a collaborative school setting.

Position Details:

• Role: Special Education Teacher
• Location: Buckeye County, AZ — On-site
• Pay: $51-$55/ hour
• School Level: Elementary
• Duration: 2026–2027 school year
• Status: Accepting Candidates

Qualifications:

• Special Education teaching experience (resource room experience preferred).
• Active Special Education teaching certification (or ability to obtain in Arizona).
• Knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and service delivery best practices.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and school teams.
• Ability to pass required background checks and meet district/state onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized instruction plans to support student learning and development
• Support students in areas such as reading, math, and social skills through small group or one-on-one instruction
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to reinforce student progress
• Monitor and document student performance and growth outcomes
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment tailored to student needs
