We’re currently seeking full-time, in-person Special Education Teachers to support a school in Trumbull, Connecticut for the 2026–2027 school year.

You’ll work on-site supporting students with disabilities such as autism, behavior challenges, or life skills needs in a collaborative school setting.

Position Details:

• Role: Special Education Teacher
• Location: Fairfield County
• Pay: $52-$58/hr.
• Duration: 2026–2027 school year

Qualifications:

• Valid special education teaching license or certification in Connecticut or applicable state endorsements
• Experience working with students with autism, behavioral challenges, or sensory needs preferred
• Strong understanding of behavioral interventions, sensory supports, and adaptive technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and families

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to students’ needs
• Utilize specialized strategies and interventions, including ABA or social-emotional learning techniques
• Collaborate with classroom staff, therapists, and families to optimize educational outcomes
• Incorporate sensory supports and adaptive technologies into daily instruction
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and report on development regularly
