Spotter (Deerfield Beach TS FL)

Safety-Conscious Spotter Position

Waste Connections is looking for a safety-conscious spotter to join our transfer station team in Deerfield Beach, FL! This is a full-time, long-term position with a reputable company. The spotter's main priority is to give clear verbal and non-verbal directions to truck drivers entering the transfer station to ensure safe and efficient traffic flow. You will also assist in the scale house when needed.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday 6:00am to 4:00pm

Pay: $18.50/hr. Working 45-55 hrs. a week! Opportunities to move up as well!

Responsibilities Include

• Spotting trucks
• Cleaning equipment
• Picking up litter
• General site cleanup
• Performing other assigned duties at the site

Requirements

• At least 2 years of work experience. Preferably in a labor type position.
• The ability to continually lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout an 8-10 hr. shift.
• Experience operating equipment is a plus
• Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
• Mechanical ability a plus.
