Senior Product Manager For Docusign Platforms

This role is a critical intersection of technical architecture, business strategy, and go-to-market enablement. As the Senior Product Manager for Docusign Platforms, you will be the single owner responsible for defining the system strategy that supports Docusign's largest enterprise customers. Your success will be measured by your ability to translate deeply technical, multi-system impact into tangible business outcomes and ensure our most strategic initiatives launch efficiently. This role sits at the center of Docusign's broader platform strategy, often navigating highly matrixed, cross-organizational conversations with multiple senior stakeholders who bring competing priorities and different opinions. The Senior Product Manager is expected to remain composed and objective in sensitive discussions, listening carefully, surfacing trade-offs clearly, and using structured written communication to anchor alignment. They will proactively ground discussions in customer impact, data, and long-term platform health, while ensuring that decisions and rationale are documented in a way that is transparent, repeatable, and accessible to executives and partner teams across Docusign.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director of Product Management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the strategy and roadmap for delivering Docusign Usage, Provisioning and Licensing initiatives, serving as the connective tissue between platform strategy and customer experience
  • Profiling high-value, innovative business use cases systematically while skillfully navigating the complexity of highly technical, distributed systems (e.g., microservices architecture)
  • Driving the vision and requirements for complex, multi-system platform changes, translating these into clear, developer-ready functional specifications and a delightful customer experience
  • Championing launch efficiency for new features and pricing packages, proactively identifying and clearing technical debt and communication blockers
  • Defining and operationalizing the success metrics (KPIs) for platform performance and customer-facing usage features in collaboration with Data Science, using telemetry to guide continuous testing and experimentation
  • Developing a deep understanding of key customer personas, struggles, and Jobs to be Done by leveraging primary and secondary research across the customer lifecycle
  • Facilitating requirements definition across teams to create detailed epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria, while rigorously identifying dependencies and relative priority with other product managers
  • Ensuring seamless collaboration with Program Management, Design, and Engineering to guarantee products ship on time and to quality standards
  • Driving successful go-to-market and adoption by collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Pricing, Sales, Support, Legal, Security, and other internal partners

The job designation is hybrid, requiring a minimum of two days per week in the office.

Basic requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in a technology-related area of study and 8+ years of relevant experience in product management for SaaS products and services. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, passion for continuous learning, and exceptional executive presence.

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible for bonuses, stock, and global benefits.
