Sr. Project Manager

Location: Palo Alto, CA (can also work remote PST hours)

This role will start as a 6 month contract with potential for long term extension/conversion.

Experience working on infrastructure and facilities projects required

Experience working with wide variety of software applications required

Transportation applications, security applications, video mgmt. systems, building mgmt. systems, access mgmt., etc.

Strong Project Management skills (PMP nice to have)

Responsibilities:

Program/Project Structure and Governance

Development and ongoing monitoring of the project task plan

Gathering of project requirements for all impacted/involved parties including compliance

Creation of project charter and management of charter and signoffs

Project communication plan and implementation

Active daily management of project work streams and activities

Workflow development/documentation

Training

Change management

Go live planning

Post live support planning/operationalization

Evaluate project for risks and document mitigation plans; ongoing risk evaluation

Track project issues, status and other project reporting

Act as Level 1 escalation point for project questions, issues, concerns

Professional expertise on project management discipline and matrix management.
