SUPERVISORY LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Logistics Leadership Role

Develop plans and strategies to provide leadership to subordinate organizations and employees on logistical matters related to sustainment of weapon systems.

Defines problems and develops recommendations for resolution of issues. Ensures coordination and/or participation in planning of all concerned functional elements.

Directs, develops, and/or implements logistics policies, processes, initiatives, and/or programs for major, highly complex weapon systems sustainment.

Brief and interact with senior military and civilian leaders to explain, advocate, and express facts and ideas on logistics issues.

Ensures compliance with policies and recommends policy changes to fit requirements.
