The Technician II, A&P is responsible for performing basic maintenance tasks without supervision. Essential duties and responsibilities include performing intermediate/heavy maintenance tasks with little supervision, performing flight control and engine throttle rigging, using FAA approved data proficiently, ensuring work adheres to high quality standards, and effectively directing the work of less experienced mechanics. Core competencies include commitment to company values and ethics, dependability, motivation, organization, communication, initiative, and analytical skills.
Qualifications to perform this job successfully include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), a minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training, and previous experience in warehousing, handling inventory, and bar code equipment. Physical demands include sitting, standing, bending, reaching, and moving about the facility in a warehouse setting.
