Technician II, Avionics

The Technician B, R&E is responsible for effectively performing R&E routine work associated with heavy aircraft A, B, C and D checks. Essential duties and responsibilities include troubleshooting aircraft avionics and electrical systems using approved technical data and minimal supervision, understanding engineering methodology for systems installations, and demonstrated proficiency in performing avionics and electrical modifications with little supervision. Core competencies include commitment to company values and ethics, dependability, motivation, communication, initiative, and strong judgment and decision making.

Qualifications to perform this job successfully include a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, a minimum of 1 year related experience and/or training, 2 years previous experience required, an A&P, FCC license or repairman certificate, computer keypunch experience, and previous experience in warehousing, handling inventory, and bar code equipment.
